The Polyphonic Spree? Oldsters in caftans repurposing psychedelia for Christ? This looks like “Logan’s Run” meets “Beneath the Planet of the Apes.”
Feels like somebody slipped me somethin’ bad before I browsed their website. Damn! It must have been that moldy rye bread.
Well, first of all, I’m assuming this is ajoke because that is most definitely not the polyphonic spree in the picture.
Anyways, I’m fairly certain that the Polyphonic Spree is not a christian band. They may have christian members, but as most people in the US are christian, that would make sense. However, I own all their CDs and I haven’t heard anything christian in any of their songs, nor have I heard anything in interviews with the founder of polyphonic spree that suggest their are any christian overtones to the Spree.
