The Washington Post neglects to mention that Spot did not just “die[] after an illness.” She was killed by order of President Bush, a fact which — amazingly — I discovered in the New York Post (which used the euphemism “euthanized”).
…hence, Spot symbolically becomes S.P.O.T., or, “smitten prisoners of texas”.
Spot was killed by order of the president because he was found humping another male dog. The president insisted that there was to be no homosexual activites to occur within the Bush family. R.I.P. Spot
