the grey’s in the back might as well be saluting flat hand frontwards. I wonder if in fifty years it is these images that people will cringe to the sight of as thousands upon thousands cheering for Hitler did.
One drove a VW, one drives a GM, other than that the similarities are eerie.

I would have thought he’d be a little wary of giant, declaratory banners since the “Mission Accomplished” debacle.
Hitler refernces aside, I have only this to say to David. If we have learned anything about Bush over the last 5 years, it is not that he learns from his mistakes. In fact, he probably still thinks the “mission accomplished” thing was a good move. Basically, the problem is that he is dumb as rocks.
The Thin Gray Line.
I think W learned to stay away from 2-word giant banners. This one feels safer because there are more words to it, hence room to “disassemble”
