transmission: the height of nepotism and self-promotion. featuring many experimental interfaces.

qaswa: ammon haggerty takes on interface design. a consistent feel throughout.

circumstance: another large design database, where i spent thirty hours of my summer 97 work week. if only you could see the studio...pool table and mad business antics.

tomato: the british design magnates, graham wood, simon taylor, et al, with their own promotional (and shockwave-enhanced) site pushing their "anti-rom" release. a wee bit temperamental and may be down at times...

haus of jinn: one john j hill gone freelance; reminiscent of tvt/waxtraxs work with the black box project of a few years ago. very nineties, very david carson with a touch of tomato.

52mm: what happens when the above-mentioned john j hill collaborates with others. very nice.

entropy8: probably linked to by more than your avergae handful of sites. a nice portfolio, really...

brnr: another one-man portfolio, but still possessing a bit more. like tDR on the web.

rezn8: one of what seems to be an increasing number of design-oriented sites.

model five: one design firm's coprorate site, but still featuring a nice interface and consistent feel throughout.

twenty-two product: the web presence of motion-grafx specialists.

p2: corporate and RGB-oriented. new yorkers take on the youth-marketed broadcast media.

the eclectica: an individual revealing one take on beauty in its modern incarnation, simplicity versus fashion.

atlas: an essential resource for photographic collections and essays.

blind spot: like atlas, but with more of a new-yorker displaying his or her works in a museum.

spectacle: absolutely splendid, a guided tour of all things beautiful, creative and almost magical.

core: rather contemporary in light of some of these other selections, but still a worthwhile stop.
